This page is updated with new work which are previews to pieces which may become available in the gallery and shop sections of this site. Often the pieces are one off, glazes which I am not yet able to replicate, or pieces of work made for exhibitions in response to a given theme. After a period of time, these pieces will either lead to further new work, become established ranges or become a part of the archive catalogue.
Please contact Eleanor if you would like further information on any pieces ahown here.
As part of The Lamorna Arts Festival in October 2009, participating artists were invited to exhibit new works inspired by art of previous generations of artists living in Lamorna. Above is pictured an enamelled silver pendant by the artist Ella Naper, who still has relatives living in the valley. The colours immediately attracted me to this piece, as did the Art Nouveau floral design, which I interpreted through four pieces of work using finely coiled clay and lustrous Raku glazes.
